A lunchtime demo run by the Digital Innovation team as part of Oxford University's AI Exploration Week. We'll explore NotebookLM — Google's AI research and note-taking tool that grounds its answers in the sources you provide.
What is NotebookLM?
NotebookLM lets you upload documents — reports, papers, notes, PDFs — and then ask questions, generate summaries, build study guides, and even create an AI "audio overview" (a podcast-style discussion) of your material. Because it only draws on the sources you give it, answers stay grounded and citable.
How to follow along
- Download the demo pack (or any individual file) from this page.
- Open notebooklm.google.com and sign in with your Google account.
- Create a new notebook and upload the downloaded documents as sources.
- Follow along with the presenter as we explore summaries, Q&A and audio overviews.
